Armor of God Yarn Craft

Remind children that they will always be strong in the Lord with the Armor of God. Inspired by Ephesians 6:10-18, the Armor of God Yarn Craft is made from cardboard, yarn, cardstock, scissors, and glue. Once complete, children will have a wonderful remind of God's strength!

What you'll need:

How to make your shield
  • Print the Armor of God Yarn Craft template onto white cardstock and cut out the shape. Trace the shape onto cardboard and cut out. (see photos)
  • Glue the end of the yarn to the back of the shield. Wrap the yarn around the shield until the cardboard is completely covered. Cut the yarn and glue the end underneath the wrapped yarn. Allow the glue to dry. (see photos)
  • Write Ephesians 6:10-18 on the small piece of colored cardstock. Decorate it with markers. Glue the piece of cardstock to the front of the shield. Allow the glue to dry. (see photos)
  • Your shield is now complete. Remember to always be strong in the Lord!
