Helps kids learn the long vowel A sound with this printable phonics worksheet. Kids are asked to look at the different pictures of a cake, ape, rake and cage on the page and fill in the missing long vowel A in each word on the line. This worksheet helps kids to learn to recognize some different words that include the vowel A and be able to recognize the long vowel A sound so they can pick it out of other words. This worksheet is great for young children that are just starting to learn their different long vowel sounds (including the long A vowel).
